This policy explains how CYC Traveller (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit cyctraveller.com, contact us or book a tour with us.

What we collect
- When you enquire: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, city, the tour and dates you’re interested in, and anything you choose to tell us.
- When you book: details needed to arrange your trip, such as passport details, date of birth, emergency contact, dietary needs, height (for bike sizing) and any health information you choose to share for your safety.
- Payments: payment confirmations and invoice details. We don’t store your full card or bank account details.
- When you visit the website: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies or analytics tools if we use them.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and send you tour information
- To book and manage your trip, including hotels, transfers, bikes and guides
- To prepare documents for your visa application
- To keep you safe and contact you or your emergency contact during the trip
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements
- To send you news about future tours, only if you agree. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed, and only with the partners who deliver your trip: hotels, transport and transfer companies, bike rental partners, local guides and, where relevant, insurers and visa service providers. Some of these partners are outside India. We don’t sell your personal information.
WhatsApp and other services
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. Links to social media or other websites are governed by their own policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years and booking records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
How we protect it
We limit access to people who need it to run your trip and take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or updated, have it deleted when it’s no longer needed, and withdraw your consent. To do any of these, email us at kim@cyctraveller.com. We’ll respond as soon as we can.
Children
Bookings for travellers under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian, who provides their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
